Overseas News From France

News from Cathrine Carter (Anacardium) who moved to live in France at the end of 2017.
She did of course take her four Irish Setters with her and has been very successful so far in the show ring.

"After having had my youngest bitch (Anacardium Foehn - Juicy ) confirmed ( you have to have a French Judge confirm the Export Pedigree and the dog in case you want to breed here ) I entered a few Shows to see how Juicy would compare with the others here. The Judges here judge very much on the 'fit for function' criteria first and most judges judge shows and field trials alike.
So Far Juicy has done very well.

GAME FAIR - Lamotte Beuvron - Sologne (Grand Prix Des Chiens De Chasse ) 1st Open Bitch Class, CACS, Best Of Breed.

We had many compliments from judges and members of the Red Club Of France, telling us she was not the field trial type that they like ( Most of them hunt with their dogs ) but they could not fault her and liked Juicy very much.
All very gratifying as I bred her and she is now 4 years old"
